Founded in 1932 by the late Hugh D. Murnighan, Builders United Sales Company enjoyed early success in the Chicago, Il. suburbs working with churches, school districts, architects, designers and owners within their local market. Initial offerings included vinyl and wood folding doors, laminated and sun controlled glass, aluminum shutters, and pomeroy windows. With its continued growth Dennis P. Murnighan Sr. as well as Dennis “Patrick” Murnighan Jr., who is the current sole owner, over the years have joined the family business and have transitioned the company to its current focus today on a variety of interior specialty products.
